The Secrets of Antioxidants in Natural Skincare Products
If you are a woman or a man with great skin chances are you aren’t just lucky – you more than likely look after it. Most people with healthy facial skin watch what natural skincare products they put on their facial skin and are diligent at looking after it.
Fruits and vegetables are healers and cleansers on the inside and we are now all becoming far more aware of their huge potential in natural skincare products to look after your facial skin on the outside. Blueberries, goji berries, pomegranates, avocados, carrots and dark chocolate are just some of the superfoods rich in antioxidants found in most food stores and supermarkets today.
Antioxidants work by slowing the natural ageing process and can be found in most colourful fruits and vegetables. They are fabulous in anti-aging facial creams formulated to help prevent fine lines and wrinkles. Incorporating the right antioxidants into your diet and skin care routine can have a hugely positive effect on your skin.
So remember a healthy skin and a radiant glow is not exclusive to those with good genes, nor does it have to come from a very expensive jar of anti wrinkle cream. Eat a diet high in antioxidants and start using natural skincare products that are formulated with premium plant extracts and oils that are high in antioxidants

A Natural Night Cream – How It Benefits Our Skin
If you’ve read any of our other blog posts, you’ll know how important we feel a good night time natural skincare routine is. Cleansing effectively so all make-up and dirt is gone and then following with a natural toner to make sure no cleanser is left and anything that was missed during the cleanse is also removed are both very important steps, but we feel that the most important step is finding and using the right natural night cream.
Using a natural night cream that not only agrees with your skin type (as a rule of thumb, the more oil in your skin, the less you want in a moisturiser and vice versa) but actually works to improve it can make the most significant difference to your overall skin health.
At night, our body starts doing all the things it couldn’t do when it was actively doing other things so this is the most optimum time to supply it with the right tools to treat skin issues effectively. If you’re applying a good natural night cream before you go to bed, your body doesn’t need to waste any time on replacing lost moisture as you’ve done that for it, so it can instead focus on repairing wrinkle/blemish/pigmentation causing damage and keeping your skin happy.
Therefore, it’s absolutely essential that you not only find a good night cream but also that you apply it every night and help your body give you the best skin it can. Well moisturised skin is healthy, glowy, dewy and blemish-free, and who wouldn’t want skin like that?

Natural skincare tips – For Healthy Skin Never Sleep With Your Make Up On
There are so many natural skincare faux pas that everyone is guilty of making, such as not exfoliating regularly enough, not moisturising as regularly as you should however, it’s safe to say that one of the best natural skincare tips we can give you to achieve healthy skin is to not leave your make-up on when you go to bed.
Your body and skin uses the sleeping hours doing everything it can to repair any damage – however minor – the previous day may have created. This includes things like flushing out toxins from your skin and regenerating itself. Both of these examples are pretty essential to maintaining healthy skin, yet by leaving your make-up on before you go to bed, you’re making it harder for your body to do a good job at repairing any facial skin damage as your make-up works like a mask that stops anything getting in (like oxygen) and anything getting out.
This is one of the best natural skincare tips we can give you, as wearing make-up to bed clogs your pores leaving you with, at the very least dull facial skin, and at the very worst inflamed spots and blackheads. Then the vicious circle continues as whilst your body should be concentrating on keeping your skin healthy, instead it then has to focus on dealing with the newly inflamed or clogged pores.
We all have days where we’re so incredibly tired that we can’t possibly consider doing anything more than flopping into bed, however if you want healthy skin make sure you allow at least a couple of minutes before bed for your natural skincare regime of cleanse, tone and moisturise.
And remember learn to appreciate what you have, before time makes you appreciate what you had.

Best Natural Skincare Products for Your 20’s
Finding the best natural skincare skincare products is essential at any age, yet difference ages need different things. Most people in their 20’s will have the benefit of youth on their side, so they won’t be showing too many signs of ageing and are likely to still be producing plenty of collagen to ensure skin regularly and competently renews itself. Therefore, here are some suggestions for the best natural skincare products if you’re in your 20’s:
Younger skin is more likely to produce excessive oil. Therefore, using a natural face wash, rather than cream cleanser, is a better way to remove make up, grime and oil. Toning is a great way to remove any excess make up or grime that your natural face wash has not removed, so invest in a good quality, natural face wash and natural toning spritz to keep skin hydrated and oil-free.
Whilst ageing won’t yet be a huge concern if you’re in your 20’s, it’s still a good idea to take preventative measures by find a natural moisturiser that’s suitable for your skin type. This should include a day cream, and a night cream that have all been formulated to work with your skin type. Another way to prevent the signs of ageing is by using a good natural skincare eye cream and the earlier you start, the more effective it will be.

Dry and Sensitive Skin Can Change With The Seasons
Dry and sensitive skin can be a challenge to treat and also be incredibly uncomfortable. If you do have dry and sensitive skin, try to establish the cause before trying to treat it.
However, sometimes it’s just one of those annoying things that happens to skin that can’t be helped. Often simple things like a change of season are a good example of something that can drastically impact your skin leaving you with dry and sensitive skin all of a sudden.
One of the best things you can do for it is to ensure you have the right levels of a natural moisturiser on your skin. One of the worst things you can do your skin is confuse it by drowning it in a natural moisturer one minute and then stripping away all the natural oils with overly harsh cleansers and exfoliators the next. Therefore, it’s wise to try and find a good natural moisturiser that your skin will respond well to and use that roughly every 12 hours, which should work out as every morning and evening.
If you do suffer from dry and sensitive skin then you may just need to work that little bit harder for a time to keep it happy.
