Pampering is one of those things that is difficult to find time for but so worth doing!  Not only does it make you feel good about yourself, it also gives you time to relax, focus on yourself and destress. Here are some suggestions on simple and easy ways to pamper yourself:For a quick bit of immediate pampering, you can’t beat a professional manicure. A lot of places offer a walk-in service which means you can squeeze in a quick visit on your way home and enjoy gorgeously buffed nails and softened hands before dinner time.

If summer is approaching, a pedicure can make all the difference. There’s nothing better than marking the arrival of a bit more sun by having your nails painted a pretty, summery shade that you can show off in summer-friendly sandals.

If splurging isn’t an option, or you don’t fancy a salon visit, try an at home facial.  This can be as basic as a deep cleanse with natural skincare products, paying particular attention to massaging the face, before following up with a mask that’s suitable for your skin type. Finishing this with a slick of your favourite moisturiser can leave you with glowing skin and a real sense of indulgence.

If things are stressful, there’s nothing better than handing yourself over to the professionals for a calming massage. Not only do you get to lie around feeling pampered, the benefits of a massage can make such a difference to how you feel, both mentally and physically. If you’re pushed for time you can just have a quick back or shoulder massage, or go for the truly indulgent full body massage.

Give your make-up a shake-up; sometimes a new lipstick or new eye shadow colour can be all you need to feel a bit more pampered.

If a new lipstick isn’t enough, why not book in for a make-up consultation?  It’s easy to get stuck in your ways with make-up you know suits you, so booking in for a consultation at a make-up counter (which is usually free) can result in you leaving with a totally new make-up look that you’d never have thought of yourself.

Our personal favourite way to feel pampered is to book in for a hair appointment. Anything from having your split ends trimmed to changing your hair colour can be a great boost to your confidence, plus having your head massaged and lovely hairdressers bringing you coffee and magazines is a very indulgent experience.

All these are suggested ways to make you feel a little more pampered, regardless of your time or budget, so now you have no excuse!

Cheers
